Ho trovato un po' di informazioni interessanti, che possono essere usate per il gdr:

ArcheAge LORE

ARCUM IRIS (Starting Zone of the Harani)
Afraid there isn’t much here; which is a shame in a place that sounds like something out of batman mixed with a goo-goo doll’s song. Apparently Arcum’s speciality good is Arcum Iris Lavaspice which can be made when you combine dried flowers with Tumeric. Apparently this ‘Lavaspice’ is used in cooking so…that’s interesting I suppose.
There’s also something called ‘dragon fruit’ which can apparently foretell your destiny. Awesome. Magical fruit.
But seriously that’s it. If anyone wants to throw more lore at me I’d really appreciate it!

FALCORTH PLAINS (Starting zone of the Firran.)
Okay this is much better!
There are a number of Firran clans in Falcorth Plains some of which are the Graymist, Whisperwind and the Oxion. The tribes appear to co-exist peacefully with each other. A wise move considering all the dangers that surround them.

Key facts about Falcorth Plains
• To the west are the Reedpipe Dens, a community of lizard like creatures called the Achassi. They harass the Firran tribes constantly and their leader has a habit of torturing and devouring young Firan kits.
• Eastward rests the Rattooth clan. Rat like in appearance they also heckle their Firran neighbors and are the source of many hardships
• Finally we have the Schima. Exactly /what/ the Schima are I can’t be sure. I do know that they are a necromantic cult with big plans. However their race and allegiance hasn’t really been made clear.
• Snow Lions are raised here and Snow Lions are awesome. Apparently the Firran think so too as they take their mount’s death extremely seriously. In fact it’s an old tradition to eat the flesh of your recently deceased snow lion as a show of respect to the great hunter they once were. The practice seems to be going out of style though as many Firran are abandoning the old ways and turning to the more luxurious life style’s civilization and technology have to offer.
• The Bayjant trials are just as important as ever and many young Firran warriors test their courage against earth elementals to show their worth. These tasks are often dealt out by the clan’s Mahra and shamans.
• Firran Shamans are expected to protect the surrounding land and retain nature’s balance. They train apprentices and are respected within the Firran community
• Harani seem to have no place in the Falcorth Plains. Those few who do wander in are likely treated with suspicion and hostility. This land is Firran territory, pure and simple.

TIGERSPINE MOUNTAINS (Surprisingly few tigers...or spines.)
Tigerspine Mountains the largest Automaton factory of its kind in West Ishvara. Unfortunately the factory is polluting the nearby Crystal Lake; much to the local’s fury. Protests are regular and the factory’s workers are struggling with the harsh working conditions.

Key Facts About Tigerspine Mountains
• There is a eco-friendly group called the Blue Cypress who supports the Narayana while also trying to preserve Tigerspine Mountains. I’m not sure what a Narayana is. Only that they give you a Yata which is the kangaroo looking mount.
• The Narayana also have a tradition of offering items containing gold to the spirits of the Lake. It is ill-advised to remove these items though there are treasure hunters foolish enough to try.
• It’s here that I learned a fascinating tidbit about Harani culture, or to be more apt, their machines. It turns out that the best of the best of Harani machinery aren’t just gears and cogs. They are in fact powered with Animus which is harvested from the life energy of animals and other livestock. What exactly does this mean I haven’t a clue. I don’t know if they use the animal’s souls or that they just…drain the energy of elderly animals. Whatever they’re doing appears to give their machines…well life.
• Their speech (Yep, they talk) is very robotic. Here’s an example: “To initiate idle protocol, all isolated miners must be cleared from premises. Recommend aerial evacuation.” Apparently they can feel to a point and are given ‘quiet retirements.’ I don’t believe this means murder or anything of the like. Though I’m sure it does happen. However I’m also sure there are robots out there chilling with their humans when they’re not planning to take over the world.

MAHADEVI (Land of waresharks! That's right, freaking sharks on land.)
Mahadevi is home to the City of Towers which is ruled by Queen Amarendra IV. The Royal family carries a lot of weight and aren’t afraid to throw it around. Currently they are working on a shipping expedition to the northern continent and hope to set sail within the month. Unfortunately for the Queen things are not going as smoothly as one might expect.

Key Facts about Mahadevi
• Elephant Ivory has been banned by royal decree. It seems the Queen desires to protect the dwindling elephant population
• Mahadevi is home to the Kalimantan Rubber Factory. They harvest the rubber from the tree sap of Rubber Trees. Unfortunately for the workers the local giant ant population has quite the taste for the stuff.
• The Royal family has allowed the Astra to make camp in Mahadevi. The Astra are a race that were exiled from the Western continent. They were once a peaceful people however have become vicious in their banishment. They’ve somehow manage to imbued the surrounding flora with a mysterious energy. Dubbed Astra flowers, the plants are said to be able to cure any disease.
• Another rare plant is called Redsnake Flowers found around Dawnsbreak Plantation. They are used to create Life’s Breath perfume, a perfume so well liked it is often sung about by bards.
• There is a centipede in Mahadevi that has an extremely painful and venomous bite. The pain can be managed by Crimson poppy juice.
• A local gang called the Black Sand has been known to kidnap people.
• Another infamous gang are the Wild Fang Smugglers. Thieves and bandits they’ve been known to attack wandering merchants.
• Mahadevi’s beach is suffering from an influx of seafolk who seem determined to make their home there. Though they generally keep to themselves the Seafolk are decimating the local fish population. They’ve also been known to tear fishing nets and lines.
• The local Granite Quarry is being harassed by the Kobold.
• There are weresharks. That’s right, ontop of giant ants, venomous catipillars, and mermaids, there are sharks that walk on land. Why isn’t this place level 50?
• Mahadevi is home to the Salphari shrine. Salphari is the goddess of purification and fire. Her worshipers were respected once however the temple fell into a decline. Since then the Selphari cultists have been said to be seen consorting with demons.
• There's an herb known as Selphari's Tear which can cure hallucinogens. Good to know! So if you have a character that pops acid, might want to have some of this on hand. Just sayin'.

SOLIS HEADLANDS (Sounds...dirty.)
Home to Austera, the only port in all of Haranya to allow legal trade between the west and the east, the Solis Headlands has born witness to many colorful tales. The most interesting can usually be found in the past. The only kingdom to rebel against the once mighty Perinoor Empire, Austera has suffered many battles. Battles whose ghosts still echo through time today.
Key Facts about Solis Headlands
• Ghosts regularly haunt this place. Seriously, there’s even a headless horseman. Not the fake, hey Ichabod stop making eyes at my girl, horseman either. Archeologists make a point to give respectful burials to any personal affects they might dig up in hopes of soothing restless spirits. The less respectful just kill them again.
• The ghosts are the souls of soldiers who fought during the civil war.
• Most of the spiritual activity seems to center around Pavitra’s Fall.
• Items shipped from Nui are not allowed outside Solis Headlands. Probably great business for smugglers though.
• Here I learned that signal flares are used to let the major city’s know that the surrounding villages are safe. Looks like there’s no link pearls here folks. Should be interesting to rp long distance communication.
• This world has mimics, the greatest trolls of any game.
• Amethysteria is a poisonous herb. However in the right doses it’s a great cure for a hangover.
• Fireshards from Fire elementals are used by many to keep warm.
• There’s serious issues with the local elementals and ghosts. Something has them acting more aggressive than usual.

HASLA (something, something Asian)
A nameless plague has ravaged the local Harani population of Hasla; afflicting young and old alike. Unable to find a cure the high priests have laid blame on a Firran tribe, the Tehmika.
Chased to the edges of their own lands, some Tehmika are pushing back. Calling themselves the Kosan Heirs, the Firran raid the local Harani farmlands and are determined to win back their people’s former glory. Meanwhile, Tehmika of more peaceful natures hope to win back their homes by finding a cure for the disease. However the distrustful Harani refuse these medicines, claiming the Tehmika are merely trying to wipe them out for taking their land.
As the commoners suffer nobility plays its own games. The boy-king Jian has gone silent; allowing his uncle, the newly dubbed King Asaji, the run of the land.
Asaji has focused all of Hasla’s efforts on reaching the North, Auroria. A mass exodus is being planned and the Harani are being heavily taxed to fund the expedition. Suffering from overcrowding, angry natives, disease, and hostile environments the common people are more than eager to send offerings to the king on the promise that each family would be given their own land and housing once they reach Auroria.
Hope can only feed the hungry so long however…

Key Notes I learned from Hasla
• Very few are fond of King Asaji but still many send offerings to him, hopping to win the greedy King’s favor.
• King Asaji has a nasty habit of ordering exotic animals from all over the globe.
• There’s been a rapid spike in Hasla’s Harani population, leading to overcrowding.
• Offerings are made often for the dead. It’s commonplace to make the deceased’s favorite foods and leave it where they died in hope of keeping the soul at rest.
• Meditation is common place in Hasla
• Elementals area a real issue. Some are simply mischevious, a few may even bless you, while others are all out violent.
• Nuian’s apparently make really great perfume.
• Those who are inflicted by the disease are chased out of their homes by their neighbors and are often quarantined in Cursed Village. Unfortunately, panicked neighbours often mistake a common cold for the plague so the Village is filled with those who aren’t actually afflicted by the plagued. Those who aren’t truly sick often murder those who are in hopes of sparing themselves the disease. This doesn’t usually work.
• There is a common legend among the Hasla people: Eons ago, the ancient dragon Mir and his siblings appeared from the heavens seeking a crystal said to contain great magic. The White Tigers, guardians of this crystal banded together to keep that crystal from the dragon’s greedy hands. The war was great and terrible and both sides took heavy losses with the White Tiger’s just barely coming out on top. It is said that the huge basin just outside White Tiger Hills was formed by that epic battle; it’s rich landscape fed by the bodies of the fallen.
• The King has prohibited the distribution of supplies to other villages, claiming that they must be used for Auroria.
• Some farmers have actually taken to burning their crops rather than hand them over.
• The Royal priests are demanding more offerings in hopes of curing the disease.
• Skyshine Ore is needed for large airships to fly
• The Land is growing oddly in Hasla, killing the crops
• In short you REALLY don’t want to live in Hasla.

YNESTERE (Home of the white people who want to be Asian) - not finished.
Glitterstone Mines are a huge part of Cernord’s economy. The ruby mine workers aren’t allowed to leave the town of Glitterstone.
Malika is the name of the Firran tribe in Ynysteres they worship the local spider population due to their silk which is stronger than any rope. However lately the spiders have become increasingly aggressive, forcing the tribe to adjust their teachings.
Though the King of Cernord is still alive his son’s are already fighting to succeed the throne. The Fight is currently between Ulthow and Ingbard.
Big gap between nobility and common folk.

RANDOM FACTS! (None of which will likely help you on Jepordy)
• Giant Honeybee Honey can sooth the symptoms of a lung infection
• There are machines called bladewings that are apparently used for all sorts of things. Scouting seems to be the most common.
• Lizard Blood from scaled Lizards are fermented with liquor to make a specialty brew.
• The Seafolk are a bit of a problem in Mahadevi. Though they generally keep to themselves they are wiping out the local fish population. A few odd ones have even taken to destroying fishermen’s nets and lines. Locals have been trying to destroy what Seafolk eggs they can find in hopes of driving them out.
• However normally they just perform mischief more so than anything truly harmful.
• Ground Tropical turtle horn can be used to calm nerves.
• Many necromancer’s worship Kyrios, the God of destruction. His general, Anthalon, is a powerful necromancer in his own right. Hisarmy of undead still rules the lost contiance and ever seeks ways to invade new lands.
• Hereafter Stones open world gates to locations saved in your teleport book. You can craft a hear afterstone out of stone brick and lunarite.
• Goldberry sapling’s can be made into Goldberry Tincture which can make the water fresh and pure.

Nuia (Land of the emo fairies!)

Solbreeze (Starter zone of the Nuians)

- Turtle liver helps heart tremors
- A large population of Nymphs call Solbreeze home. Peaceful forest creatures, they live at the appropriately named Nymph Sanctuary.
- If a Nymp’s essence becomes tainted it will turn into a Banshee. Banshee’s are violent, deadly creatures. If purified the Banshee will revert back into a Nymph.
- A gang of thieves known as the Four Fingers terrorize the Solbreeze populous. Named so because most have suffered the price for being caught stealing - they are a group of hardened criminals.
- Their leader has declared himself King of Blackheath Keep and rests in the old ruin’s halls.
- Solbreeze is home to the Labyrinth. After being cleared of evil elementals and spirits alike by the great Archemage Solzrean generations ago it was declared that anyone else who managed to clear the labyrinth would be crowned ruler of the Crescent Throne. Very few who test the Labyrinth survive. Though it is open to all most believe that a commoner could not possibly defeat the Labyrinth and so the trials are often left to the nobility.
- Solbreeze is named for Solzrean.
- A bridge dubbed Barkbridge is being built to connect the noble empires of the Crescent Throne and Marianople.
- In Solbreeze rests the Castigant Ruins. They're all that's left from a rebel lord who tried to wage war with the Crescent Throne. Even now, the spirits of his slaughtered army still haunt the castle grounds.
- There is said to be a bloody crown once worn by the ruler of the Castigant Ruins floating around on the black market.
- There are exorcists here so yes, the movie exorcist will totes be relevant.
- The royal library apparently has an issue with nobles forgetting to return checked out books.

Gweonid Forest (Starter zone of the Elves)
- Home to the Field of Honor. A sort of almost sacred arena for Elves, the Field of Honor is a chance for young elves to display skill and martial prowess.
- To ensure fair play, all Field of Honor participants must use equipment provided for them by tournament officials.
- Nuians have never before participated in the Field of Honor. Even if they could, most elves would refuse to stain their blade with human blood. Oooh sick burn.
- It’s unusual for the Elvish elders to give people permission to travel abroad however it does happen enough that it’s not unheard of. Just because they approve your trip however doesn’t mean they’ll fund it. So their the boss that doesn’t give paid vacation...welp, no elvish characters for me!
- Despite the disdain some elves clearly hold for humans not all share in it. In fact there’s one quest where an Elvish woman is trying to sway a Nuian male.
- Seems most young Elve’s are recruits so it looks like just about all of them receive some form of military training. But don’t quote me on that.
- A silver tongue repays no debts is a Nuian saying that some Elves apparently have trouble with.
- Though it’s clear there is animosity between the Nuians and Elves of Gweonid forest they DO interact with each other on a regular bases.
- The local Treeleaf Nymphs have been draining the local flora of nutrients to survive.
- Traditional elves refuse to build their own houses because they don’t think of Nuia as their home.
- Quests hint at the fact that some Elves might have lived since the days of Auroria. In which case...wow. Peeps are old. http://archeagedatabase.net/us/quest/2476/ <- quest that MIGHT hint this.
- It’s common practice to absorb a piece of the curse into a crystal so that it can be safely studied in hopes of finding a cure.
- Apparently, the elements have Lords. Whether this means they actually lead the other elementals or are simply more powerful than others I do not know.
- Earth elemental Lords always reflect the local soil impurities.
- The town Sylvan Devi gets its name from the enormous spirit tree at it’s center. People say that if you are brave enough to climb it, you can find magical Devi's Fruit growing on its branches. Devi’s Fruit gives invigorating effects so it’s like...nature’s viagra.
- Sarracenias are creepy ass plant things that hide out in the noxious fumes of the Barrens, snagging innocent travelers as they pass through.

(There’s more but I’m going to stop here because the quest entries for Gweonid Forest are really messed up and hard to sift through.)

Lilyut Hills (Place where everything hits the fan)
- Have a serious issue with Dahuta cultist. Those who do not fall to the cultist's will are often murdered...or sacrificed and then resurrected as monsters to aid them in battle. So...yeah, that’s messed up.
- Soo...apparently you have a run in with The Children of Ipnya. Neat. They’re called an organization so...doubt they’re a race. They’re working to do away with the Dahuta Cult because seriously, nobody likes them. Might be elvish, no idea.
- Ruled by Duke Ronbann whose known to strike a certain amount of fear into the local banditry. Unfortunately he’s in Marianople on business.
- Home to Riverspan which has Ronbann Mine
- Also home to Bear Mountain Bandits who...are really just dicks. Seriously the place is already suffering from undead and evil cultists - this isn’t Skyrim guys.
- Death Shrouds are used to bury the dead.
- Blue Salt Brotherhood Guild House is here
- Kobold are apparently here too. Cause why not?
- There’s a place called the Fallen Fortress where special Mushrooms go. Apparently, the Ronbann family is quite partial to them and have them collected. (Yes, the royal family is seriously harvesting mushrooms.) Unfortunately, the sudden spike in ghosts has made that collection a bit difficult.

Marianople (Aka: Game of Thrones)
- The Wyrdwind, Triests, and the Noryette families have controlled this city for generations. Things were rather violent in the past. But these days it's more political squabbling than blood in the streets. While some say the family’s protect the city others claim they are tyrants.
- Wolf packs have been known to attack travelers.
- The town of Dawnsliver is in Marianople
- Nobles and common folk alike will name their daughters Marian in hopes that she will grow to emulate the great legendary Queen, Marian.
- Group called the Cart Ambushers that...well Ambush Carts. They use children in their thievery.
- There’s a university in Marianople
(Under construction)

Random Fact Time! (still not helpful on Jepordy)
- There are ancient Daru relics called Crystal baubles. They were considered good luck in ancient times. Exactly who or what the Daru were I have no clue.
- The military uses Dwarven machines
- The Nuians use Harani technology. In fact, the military even use Harani manual’s to make bombs.
- You can use the elements against each other. For example, an earth elemental stone can weaken a wind elemental.
- There are Orcs, goblins and Cinituars in this world. Wild and not really anyone’s friends from the looks of things.
